Boxing for a Cause is our way of giving back to our local community. Each month, one of our team members chooses a local nonprofit to receive a donation. Jacob chose the Food Bank of North Alabama for August!
About Food Bank of North Alabama
The Food Bank of North Alabama is a nonprofit based in Huntsville that aims to end hunger by feeding those who are hungry and creating solutions that will end hunger tomorrow. Annually, they feed over 80,000 people at risk. They also participate in initiatives and collaborations that address the root causes of hunger.
Why Jacob Chose Food Bank of North Alabama
Jacob says, "I chose the Food Bank of North Alabama because of the work they do in feeding the hungry. So many of us take our food for granted, while some struggle to eat even one meal a day."
He continues, "The Food Bank of North Alabama sees this need and fills it through many programs ranging from those that help the homeless to those that provide meals for children who rely on the school system to feed them."
