A little background

Our tale began two and a half years ago during a quarterly strategy session. Six passionate individuals huddled around a conference table, full of enthusiasm, and engaged in a deep discussion about the plans for the upcoming quarter.

That discussion was all around, how could we plan, execute, and report faster. We needed the ability to push more through the "pipe" for ourselves and our clients.

But, we weren't sure what we needed to change, because we are comfortable.

It was comfortable

For years, we operated within multiple systems. Discuss how as our business grew and time went on we kept layering on platform after platform to solve the latest problem.  Then we ended up with a toolset of 13+ platforms that included WordPress for the website, MailChimp for email marketing, HubSpot for blogging, PandaDocs for contracts, and Quickbooks for payments, just to name a few.

This scattered approach slowed execution and bogged down our processes with Excel imports/exports and copy-pasting data across platforms.

This caused late nights resolving platform issues, and frustrated our team because they were constantly fought with the tools just to accomplish their daily tasks.

What changed?

The turning point came when we realized their strongest tool was the one they'd never had complaints about – HubSpot.

Despite initial concerns about leaving the familiarity of WordPress (MailChimp, etc..), we made the bold decision to move forward, migrating their entire system to HubSpot.

The speed of a connected platform

What used to take days, now took only minutes. Marketing campaigns, which once took three weeks to launch, were now up and running in just a week.

Our throughput increased dramatically, and our data analytics improved substantially. We didn't realize how much time and effort we were wasting until we made the change.

The best wat we could describe it, was going from driving a car to getting into an F1 (Formula 1) racing car!

"We were a little hesitant to go all in with HubSpot but the transformation has been one of the best decisions we've made as a team,"
