Cares for a Cause is our way of giving back to our local community. Each month, one of our team members chooses a local nonprofit to receive a donation. For this month, Lindsey chose the Athens Limestone Animal Shelter to receive a donation!
About Athens Limestone Animal Shelter
Each year, the Athens Limestone Animal Shelter accepts more than 3,000 dogs and cats from animal control officers in Athens and Limestone County and from citizens who find strays or can no longer care for their pets.
Every effort is made to reunite lost animals with their families and to find loving, forever homes for every adoptable dog and cat.
Why Lindsey Chose Athens Limestone Animal Shelter
Lindsey says, "I selected Athens Limestone Animal Shelter because I have seen how much they care for the animals in our community. They go over and above to rescue the most vulnerable animals and work diligently to find them the best homes."
She also says, "Over the years, they have overcome so many challenges, including a devastating distemper outbreak years ago, and yet, they continue to work even harder to love and support neglected, abused, and homeless animals in North Alabama. I admire their dedication and love for the animals in our community and want them to know how much we appreciate them!"
